Bob Shields MVO

One of the key ingredients for running successful courses is meticulous planning, particularly where a large number of delegates are involved participating within different workshops simultaneously. So (military) planning is essential.

Squadron Leader Bob Shields MVO RAF (Ret'd) is our Standards Improvement Director. Bob (or SID as he is affectionately known by the Inspire Team), retired from the RAF after 38 years' service as a Navigator. In 1993 Bob was invested by Her Majesty The Queen as a Member of the Royal Victorian Order in recognition of his service to the Royal Family over a period of 15 years on The Queen's Flight; during this time, Bob flew every Member of the Royal Family and was Personal Navigator to HRH The Prince of Wales.

Bob's military background has enabled him to develop sound planning and organisational skills, and his warm personality has made him a firm favourite with Inspire Change's clients. His eye for detail and experience of protocol, etiquette and detailed planning bring a unique and specialist dimension to Inspire Change.
