Michael began his career training as an accountant, and then moved into the IT sector where he carried out roles including systems analysis, project management, training, personal development & coaching and management roles, working in all three areas of customer, manufacturer & third party supplier.
He was a senior technical instructor for Wang (UK) Ltd during the 1990s, and since 1999 has been focussing on providing Project Management, Team Development & Communication Skills based workshops.
He favours a participative and consultative training style, which will give the delegates the opportunity to experiment through exercises, discussions and other activities. By adopting a facilitator role, Mike challenges delegates and encourages them to think for themselves. Also, through discussion forums, he is often able to assist others in “the application of theory”, by calling on his experience and relating it to the delegates’ current situations.
He is a member of the Association for Project Management, a registered PRINCE2 Practitioner and MSP Practitioner, and a Business Practitioner of Neuro Linguistic Programming.
