Home Strait® On Tour

Home StraitThe Objective
Our client requested that we take our hugely successful Home Strait® workshop and literally put it ‘on tour’ to make it available at a regional level.  Home Strait® has been included as a professional development workshop at large conferences, but creating it as a programme in its own right meant a greater number of doctors could take part. Home Strait® provides practical advice and experience of a Panel Interview to help them succeed in securing a substantive post.

The Solution
Inspire Change had to identify a series of suitable venues across the country and ensure each venue could provide the space and layout needed for Home Strait® to run smoothly. Delegates received advice and help on strengthening their CV and the Home Strait® workshop put them through their paces as they faced a tough panel in a mock interview.  These panel members typically interview for substantive posts in real life, so for the delegate it is as near as they can get to what it is going to be like for them when they do it for real.  Each interview is professionally filmed and the delegate gets to keep a DVD record of their own interview and the feedback they will have received from the panel.

The End Result

  • All venues & logistics managed by Inspire Change Project Management team
  • A high number of delegates attending Home Strait® on Tour have gone on to secure a Consultant or Substantive Post, and of those most agree they might not have been successful if it wasn’t for having attended the course
